I must say that we do get quite lucky here in Nova Scotia with a lot of fine Saturday’s for weddings, which is amazing, but it can cause you to forget how amazing photos can look on a drizzly, rainy day. Lisa and Adam their wedding at the Courtyard Marriot Hotel in downtown Halifax, and it was one of those Saturdays where most of the day it’s not quite raining, but it could at any moment. Just before the ceremony, a soft rain began to fall. Everyone had umbrellas and enjoyed the warm rain outdoors on the balcony to watch this couple say their vows. Halifax Wedding Photographers
With the Historic Farmer’s Market right next door, we had an excellent rainy day photo venue, and then the rain eased off and we were able to get some outside photos in front of the lush greens in front of Cut Steakhouse. We absolutely love the look and colours of those deep green leaves and the wet stone.
Although it was a bit wet throughout the day, Adam and Lisa had something special for everyone, and that was dinner at Da Maurizio’s. This meal was spectacular, and all their guests enjoyed the ambiance of this fine Italian restaurant.
To cap the night off, the sky began to clear and everyone went on a cruise of Halifax Harbour on the Tall Ship Silva.
Everyone had an awesome day, even with a little rain
Congratulations to Lisa and Adam
