Adrienne + Jonathan’s White Point Beach Lodge Wedding
We had not had the opportunity to visit White Point Beach Lodge since before the main lodge was destroyed by fire in 2011. We couldn’t wait to see what the new resort looked like, and Wow! It is fantastic! What a beautiful job they have done modernizing the lodge with a blend of natural and industrial styles. It was Adrienne and Jonathan’s wedding that finally gave us the chance to get back to White Point, and we had a wonderful day with them.
We first met Adrienne and Jonathan last year while photographing Jonathan’s sister’s wedding at Oak Island Resort (Rebecca + Rodney’s Thanksgiving Wedding in Mahone Bay). They had just celebrated the birth of their second son. They were so excited, and so obviously in love (they were all over each other like teenagers) and we’re happy to report that has not changed (even in the midst of planning a wedding with two little boys running under foot). It really did feel like old times coming back to photograph Adrienne and Jonathan’s wedding, as both of their families are unbelievably welcoming, and were pleased to have us there with them again. We’re looking forward to seeing Adrienne and Jonathan again in the Fall for a family session! Thank-you again for having us share in your day. We’re always so impressed with the bouquets created by the talented Chelsea Lee Flowers. These bouquets were the perfect compliment to the bridesmaid’s soft pink dresses in the tranquil White Point Beach Lodge surroundings.
The pink details continued with Adrienne’s fantastic and whimsical shoes.
Even the make-up artists were in on the pink theme! And you’ve got to love the infinity rings Adrienne gave as bridesmaid gifts from the House of Moda.
What could be better than chilling with your best friends and a little sip of Nova 7 from Benjamin Bridge winery in Nova Scotia?
I love getting to see father’s reactions to their daughters all done up on their wedding day.
White Point Beach Lodge is a gorgeous setting for a beach wedding.
The bridesmaids decided to celebrate the nuptials with a shot of sex on the beach (I think). All appeared well before the shot…
But I’m not so sure they’ll be trying that one again anytime soon 🙂
And Jonathan, a fan of golf, couldn’t resist an opportunity for some photos on the golf course at White Point Beach Resort.
So what did the Kissing Game require Jonathan to do? Kiss his mother-in-law!
Love these two. So happy and so in love. Congrats guys!
